
All prospective graduands and accredited photo/videographers are requested to take notice of the following information regarding photo and videography activities to take place during the upcoming 35th Congregation to ensure a seamless event:
1. That all photo and videography activities that would precede the Congregation would take place mainly at the University Sports Complex from 6 am to 8:25 am.
2. That all photo and videography activities cease exactly at 8:25 am to make way for the start of the Congregation at 8:30 am when all prospective graduands SHOULD HAVE BEEN SEATED.
3. That immediately at 8:25 am, the Sports Complex would be locked. This means that any student, who fails to leave the Sports Complex exactly at 8:25 am, would be locked inside the Sports Complex till after the Congregation.
4. That from 8:30 am, any prospective graduand found engaging in any photo or videography
Activity WOULD HAVE HIS/HER CERTIFICATE WITHHELD for a period to be determined by Management and THE GADGETS OF THE PHOTO/VIDEOGRAPHER SEIZED.
5. That though prospective graduands are allowed to bring their own photo/videographers, it is prohibited for any person (student or guest) to enter the barricaded area where the University photo/videographer and his team, as well as accredited photo/videographers would be stationed during the Congregation. Any breach to this directive would attract sanctions.
Official Photo Shoots
Please take note that the University’s Multimedia Unit would be offering a pre-Congregation photo shoot activity on Campus from November 24 – 28, 2025 from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm at a discounted cost. Additionally, official photos would be taken by the Unit during the award of degrees and special awards. Prospective graduands may take advantage of the offer and contact the Officer-in-Charge at the COLT or call 0244893057 for assistance.
