GTUC In Collaboration With Africa Endeavour To Organise Africa Defense Cyber-security Symposium

Ghana is playing a leading role in Cyber Defence and Security in Africa and our defence sector is doing a great job by taking the lead in Africa’s Cyberspace. Ghana Technology University College has been playing a key role in Cyber defence training in both civil and the security sector.

GTUC has taken a giant step to lead and share her lessons learnt, knowledge and expertise with our brothers and sisters on the continent and beyond. A meeting with United States Africa Command, African Union and Ministry of Defence in Ghana Cyber Security Programme.

In advancement of this collaborative agreement, GTUC was privileged to host a team from the United States Africa Command as they visited the campus to meet management and the organizing team, as well as take a tour of the University which will serve as the training facility.

The team, led by Michael R. Williams, the Programme Manager for the United States Africa Command, were very enthusiastic about the agreement and stated that they were keenly anticipating the commencement of this initiative.
