Housing Information
Hostel life is considered an informal education. The out-of-class experience provides an environment favourable for self-learning and maximises opportunities for social, cultural and co-curricular involvement. The personal development of students could also be nurtured and supported through living in a community environment. Ghana Technology University College (GTUC) runs non-residential programmes but has some hostel rooms on the main campus. Since all the requests cannot be met due to the limited number of rooms available, and fully aware of the negative impact of accommodation challenges on students, strenuous efforts have been made to locate suitable accommodation in the vicinity to provide as many students as possible with suitable accommodation. In addition to the GTUC run hostels, management has a relationship with three (3) other hostels and efforts are still being made to enter into relationships with many more. We aim at having different categories to cater for the varied needs of our students. In the interest of our students, management maintains a very cordial relationship with the managers of these privately run hostels. Consequently any challenges our students face are addressed to the best of their ability. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that all our students live in a hygienic and conducive environment.
Ghana Technology University College runs the following hostels:
1. GTUC Hostel Blocks A, B & C: Location: GTUC Main campus Number of Rooms: 42 Double occupancy rooms Facilities:

2. International Students Hostel: Location: Tesano, Adjacent Aqua Safe Water Limited Distance from Tesano Campus: 250 metres Distance from Abeka Campus: 1.5 kilometres Facilities:
