    Dr. Iddrisu earned a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Mathematics from the University of Ghana in 2008, Master of Philosophy degree in Applied Mathematics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2012, and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Applied Statistics from the University for Development Studies in 2017.

    Dr. Iddrisu has been working as a University lecturer and consulting Statistician for the past 12 years. He has had the privilege of working in partnership with renowned researchers from many different discipline areas, providing statistical support and research guidance. He has co-authored more than 30 peer reviewed journal articles, where he has been the sole contributor of the statistical content.

  • Professional Training

    As a consulting Statistician, Dr. Iddrisu has provided critical review of analyses and reports and advised other researchers and statisticians on various projects. In the health sector for instance, Dr. Iddrisu was part of a team formed by the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences on behalf of the Ministry of Health to model the COVID-19 data in Ghana.

    In the energy sector, he has worked with the Water Resources Commission on the Akosombo Kpong Dams reoperation and reoptimization project. In the agricultural sector, he has provided consultancy services to the Centre for Dryland Agriculture (CDA) in Kano, Nigeria.

    In the mining sector, Dr. Iddrisu has worked on several research projects focused mainly on managing mineworker fatigue and improving the relationship between mining companies and the communities they operate within.
