Speaking on behalf of the family, Mr. Amo-Mensah stated that his family was very appreciative of the numerous support and contributions received from GCTU during the trying moments of the family and it was therefore appropriate for them to come and show gratitude.

Prof. Afoakwa, on behalf of the University community, commiserated with the family, noting that the University community wished that the late Mr. Korley would get well and return to continue his valued service to the University, but the Lord knows best.

The Vice-Chancellor expressed Management’s readiness to join other staff at the funeral immediately after completing the 32nd Congregation ceremony which happened coincidentally. However, Management was informed that the funeral rites had ended.  He added that, GCTU’s doors are always open to the family whenever the need arose.
