The Faculty of Computing and Information Systems (FoCIS) in collaboration with the Australian High Commission, cordially invites the University Community to a panel discussion and Networking Session on the topic ‘Cyber Preparedness in the 4/5th Industrial Revolutions: A Gender-Based Perspective.’

Guest Speaker Profile:

Ambassador Brendan Dowling has a distinguished career in cyber affairs, recently serving as the First Assistant Secretary at the Cyber and Critical Technology Coordination Centre within the Department of Home Affairs. With extensive experience, he has played a key role in Australia’s diplomatic missions, including a senior position at the Embassy in the United States. Ambassador Dowling plays a critical role in shaping Australia’s Cyber Security Strategy (2023-2030), contributing to the nation’s position as a trusted and influential global leader in cybersecurity.
