Earlier in an overview presentation on FESSPA, the Human Resource Director, Mrs. Hannah Ashiokai Akrong, stated that the programme is “… a very important day for us,” especially having the presence of their executive team to support the selected bright students.

She emphasized the importance of attitude and behaviour in the professional world, saying, “Skill, you can learn, but attitude is everything. It’s the key to success here at Telecel.”

GCTU was represented at the awards for the second year running

The scholarship package included the provision of the latest tablets, 10gig of data a month for six months and a stipend of 5,000 Ghana cedis. Winners could also access Telecel’s extensive mentorship and training programmes expected to provide them with invaluable industry experience as well as undertake their national service with Telecel. “You get to work on cutting-edge projects, and the exposure is something that you should be very proud of,” the MC of the event remarked.
