Dr. Ebenezer Malcalm, appointed Chairperson of the Governing Council of Peki College of Education.
At a recent ceremony held on the 24th of July, 2019, the Dean of the GTUC Graduate School, Dr. Ebenezer Malcalm, was officially appointed as the Chairperson of the Governing Council of Peki College of Education, Peki. The event, which was held at the National Council for Tertiary Education, was organized to officially inaugurate the Governing Councils of 13 Colleges of Education, including Peki College of Education.
In his address to those gathered, the Minister of State in charge of Tertiary Education, Prof. Kwesi Yankah thanked those inaugurated for accepting their various appointments and expressed the appreciation of government on behalf of His Excellency, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, for “their show of commitment and quest to serve mother Ghana”.
Dr. Malcalm was supported at the event by the Registrar of GTUC, Dr. Mrs. Juliana Owusu-Ansah as well as staff from the Graduate School and other departments as he was officially sworn in, and has been commended by management for his contribution to the University and the nation as a whole.
On behalf of the entire University Community, we join in congratulating Dr. Malcalm on what is a fine achievement, and we are confident that his elevation will go some way towards propelling the University to even greater heights.
