Fatu Esi Sesay

 

Fatu Esi Sesay joined Ghana Technology University College (GTUC) in 2013 and started work on the 1st March, 2013 as the Personal Assistant/Administrative Secretary to the Head of Institutional Advancement, Maria Louisa (ML) Brookshire.

Prior to working at GTUC, she was a Manageress at Monarch Hotel, a two-star hotel at East Legon where she worked for three (3) years. In her role as a Manageress, she assisted the Director to plan, organize, co-ordinate and control the operations of the hotel, as well as the activities of staff. She also assisted the Managing Director in drawing up business plans and annual budgets for the hotel. She monitored the preparation of the monthly operational reports; supervised the work of all categories of staff under her; and assisted the Managing Director to promote the hotel by achieving high occupancy levels.

Before then, she was the Administrative Assistant to the Managing Director of Innovative Services Ltd.; one of the leading Management Consultancy firms in the country. She played diverse roles in her capacity as an Administrative Assistant by combining the functions of office management and data collection.

She attended Apam Secondary School for her High School education; and then continued to Accra Polytechnic to acquire a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Secretaryship and Management Studies. Though not through with what is on her academic radar, it is her ultimate ambition to continue her education sooner than later; in order to receive another Degree in Management and beyond (since knowledge has no boundaries).

Fatu Esi Sesay is a dynamic and innovative person; and in her quest to attain her ambitions and ultimate aspirations, she will always support her department to perform the tasks, functions and duties that are expected; in order to achieve the overall goals and objectives of her company, organization or institution as a whole.
