Virtual (Remote) Teaching And Learning Webinar

In response to the closure of universities around the globe, some universities have made the shift to deploy virtual teaching and learning as an emergency solution. The ad-hoc nature of the transition from face-to-face to an experimental virtual teaching and learning approach has generated anxiety among leadership of universities, students and lecturers alike.

Similar to many parts of the global south, Ghana’s underlying technology infrastructure and connectivity challenges are well documented. The way forward as suggested by some experts, is to devise pragmatic approaches that focus on what is accessible, practicable and acceptable within the context of students, lecturers and higher education standards.

Ghana Technology University College (GTUC) is hosting a team of experts for an online event to discuss and share best practices and provide tips on how leadership of universities, lecturers and students can navigate through virtual teaching and learning in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
