NATIONAL SERVICE SECRETARIAT INTERACTS WITH KUMASI CAMPUS STUDENTS

A team from the Ashanti Regional Secretariat of the National Service Scheme has visited the Kumasi Campus to interact with GTUC students.

The team which comprised of the Regional Director, the Regional Administrator and an Administrative Officer paid a working visit to the Campus to educate students on the new national service scheme.

Welcoming the team on behalf of the Director, Kumasi Campus, Mr. George Akom commended the Regional Director and his team for embarking on such a visit despite their busy schedule to share information with students of GTUC.

The Regional Director, Mr. Kwesi Quainoo, took the students through the new policies and modalities governing the national service scheme. He advised the students to comply with all the rules and regulation of the service. Students were also taken through the registration processes for membership of the scheme.

Students were also given the opportunity to ask questions regarding the scheme during the Q&A session.

Closing the session, the Students Affairs Officer, Mr. Joseph Afari Buabeng, students thanked the regional secretariat for making time with the students and to share information with them.
