GCTU To Host Business Ethics Network Conference
Ghana Communication Technology University is scheduled to host the 2024 Business Ethics Network-Africa (BEN-Africa) Conference in Ghana from November 7 to 8, 2024.
The conference, which would be held on the theme, “Agenda 2063 and the Sustainable Africa: The Role of Ethical Businesses,” was approved for GCTU under the auspices of the Business School’s recent connection with the Association of African Business Schools (AABS).
Information about this upcoming conference became evident during a meeting of the GCTU Conference Standing Committee held on March 13, 2024, which also hosted the BEN-Africa Delegation including Dr. Bryan Robinson from South Africa and Mr. Isaac Amoah, ABSA, Ghana.
The delegation visited GCTU to meet the Conference Committee to deliberate plans for the impending event and to inspect facilities earmarked for organizing the impending conference.
In a related development, Dr. Robinson paid a courtesy call on Management. The Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Robert Ebo Hinson, who received Dr. Robinson on behalf of Management expressed the hope that the impending conference would be the best one in Africa. He also encouraged Dr. Robinson and his team to consider including issues on ICT, which is GCTU’s mandate in the conference discussions.
