Victoria Pokuaah Ardayfio is a Junior Assistant Librarian at the Ghana Communications Technology, (GCTU) Kumasi Learning Centre. Ms. Victoria is responsible for leading the library team in providing innovative and inclusive information services to support the academic success of students and faculty.

With over nine (9) years of experience in academic librarianship, she is passionate about creating a library environment that is welcoming, inclusive, and supportive of diverse learning needs. Victoria is an expertise in Information literacy instruction, collection development and management, research support and consultation.

Ms. Ruth Y. Asah-Kissiedu is a Junior Assistant Librarian at Ghana Communication Technology University. In this role, she promotes information literacy and empowers lecturers and students through creative library support services.
With about 10 years of expertise in providing academic library services, Ms. Asah-Kissiedu specializes in linking traditional library roles with the demands of the digital age. Aside from her expertise in teaching information literacy, she has an interest in assisting patrons in research.

She is devoted to developing friendly, inclusive library environments that foster intellectual development and community involvement.
Ms. Asah-Kissiedu holds a Master of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Studies from the University of Ghana.

Outside of work, she loves sports, especially playing ludo and watching football. She also likes to socialize and participate in community service projects, which broadens her network both personally and professionally.

Asmawu Abubakar serves as a Senior Assistant Librarian at Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) specifically at the Graduate Resource Center. She holds both a Master of Philosophy (MPHIL) and a Master of Arts (MA) in Information studies from the University of Ghana, Legon.

She plays a crucial role in supporting the overall management and operation of the library. She oversees daily operations and manages library staff in the absence of the head librarian, ensures efficient and effective library services and procedures and maintains and update library policies and procedures. Her research interests include library information systems and library automation management.

Profile

She brings a strong educational foundation and extensive professional experience to her role as the Acting Head of Technical Services and Graduate Librarian at the Ghana Communication Technology University Library on the Accra main campus. In addition to her core responsibilities, she leads library e-resources training for staff and freshmen.

Her duties include selecting relevant free journals and books from catalogues, providing user guidelines, managing daily book shelving, and handling circulation tasks. She also supervises junior and student staff, integrates new collections into the automated system, issues defaulter alerts, generates official documents and reports, and seeks input from the academic community for course materials. Known for her well-organized, analytical approach, she excels in teamwork and leadership, and she is particularly passionate about tackling challenges and engaging from the outset of projects.

Dr. Esi Akyere Mensah (FHEA) is a senior lecturer and former Acting Head, Department of Management and Human resources at the Business School of Ghana Communication Technology University.

She has a Ph.D in Tourism Management from the University of Cape Coast and MSc. in Development Management from the University of Agder in Norway. Her research interests include sustainable and volunteer tourism, migration, leadership and development issues in emerging economies. Dr. Ruhiya Abubakar is a young, energetic, smart, result-oriented and experienced lecturer with the faculty of engineering of Ghana Communication Technology University and has a Ph.D. in engineering and technology with Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences in India. She handles courses in both the telecommunications and electrical/electronic departments. Some of the courses she teaches include circuit theory, digital communications, data communications and computer networking, electromagnetic wave theory, microprocessors applications etc.

Dr. Abubakar obtained her secondary education at Navrongo Secondary School in the upper east region of Ghana, her tertiary education at Takoradi polytechnic and later Ghana Communication Technology University she has so much passion in the promotion of female in STEM education.

Her creativity, imaginative, innovative and adaptable mindset make me a good team player who respects and upholds team objectives. Her high sense of responsibility and trustworthiness, again make her a quick learner and industrious. She is committed to corporate values and believes in continues improvement and serving clients with diligence and humility.

Dr, Abubakar’s knowledge in both the telecommunications and energy systems make versatile. Ultimately, she has immensely contributed to the body of knowledge from research works conducted in the past 10 years, which made her attain eighteen publications to her credit and attended many conferences both abroad and in Ghana.

Dr. Ethel Yiranbon is a Senior lecturer with 7 years research and Teaching experience in Higher education in addition to being the founder of Smile All Foundation. Samuel Afoakwa is the Head of Department for Computer Engineering at Ghana Communication Technology University. He received a B.S. in physics and M.S. in telecommunication engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana in 2002 and 2010 respectively.

He obtained his Ph.D degree in electronic engineering at Hanbat National University, Daejeon, Korea in 2019, where he was also a Research Associate in the Antenna and Microwave Engineering lab. His research interests include microstrip linear array antennas, wideband monopole antennas and phased array antenna systems.
