Council Member, Mr. Herman Kojo Chinery-Hesse Passes On
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Herman Kojo Chinery-Hesse, a renowned Ghanaian technology entrepreneur and Founder of SOFTtribe. Mr. Chinery-Hesse passed away on the evening of Monday, September 16, 2024 following a cardiac arrest.
In addition to his remarkable contributions to the technology industry, Mr. Chinery-Hesse was a valued member of our University Council. His passing is a great loss to the entire University Community.
The news of his passing was first announced by Citi FM in Accra and we join the country in mourning the loss of such a significant figure.
We encourage members of the University to extend their heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.
