    Samuel Afoakwa is the Head of Department for Computer Engineering at Ghana Communication Technology University. He received a B.S. in physics and M.S. in telecommunication engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana in 2002 and 2010 respectively.

    He obtained his Ph.D degree in electronic engineering at Hanbat National University, Daejeon, Korea in 2019, where he was also a Research Associate in the Antenna and Microwave Engineering lab. His research interests include microstrip linear array antennas, wideband monopole antennas and phased array antenna systems.
