Best Emerging University College in West Africa 2013
The Ghana Technology University College (GTUC) has again made itself proud by winning an international award.
The prestigious award was presented to the University College at the 2013 edition of the Europe Business Assembly awards ceremony held in Montreux, Switzerland. This was in recognition of the University College’s numerous achievements as well as the rate of its growth and development in the sub-region. The award was in the category of Best Emerging University College in West Africa.
The Europe Business Assembly (EBA) is an independent corporation for development and management of economic, social and humanitarian collaboration.
The criteria for selection into becoming a recipient of this enviable award includes; image in the region, alumni demand and level of employment, international co-operations, professionalism and high qualification of teaching academic staff among others.
Dr. Osei K. Darkwa, the president represented the college and received the award.
