[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Premium Bank has donated 10 laptops to the Takoradi campus of the Ghana Technology University College (GTUC) to enhance teaching and learning.

Managing Director of the Bank, Mr. Kwasi Ndablah Tumi, said the donation is a gesture to form a partnership with the college which is involved with the teaching of technical courses. He said technology is important in the banking system; hence the need to partner the college to train qualified and skilled people to meet the technological demands of the country.

Mr. Tumi said the donation was just the beginning of the partnership and that the bank would avail itself for the necessary coordination that would make the partnership more meaningful.

Vice President of GTUC, Professor Abeku Blankson, who received the items commended the bank for the items and said it would build a cordial relationship between the two institutions.

He suggested that the partnership with the bank be moved further to fostering and mentoring students of the college.

Prof. Blankson appealed to the management of the bank to consider adopting either a classroom, laboratory or a faculty of the college. The Vice President of the college pledged that the computers would be put to good use and would be well maintained to ensure they last longer.

Acting head of the Takoradi campus, Ms. Jahan-Nusrat Abubakar, lauded the bank for the gesture and urged other corporate institutions to emulate the example of the Premium Bank[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
