TEAM BUILDING WORKSHOP KUMASI CAMPUS

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]The Kumasi Campus of GTUC has organized a two – day Capacity Building Workshop for Faculty and Staff. The workshop was facilitated by the Deputy Registrar, Ms. Jennifer Akude, and Administrative Officer, (Office of Deputy Registrar) Mr. Isaac Yaw Okyere.Opening the workshop, Director, Kumasi Campus, Mr. YawOfori – Amanfo, iterated the need for team building amongmembers of staff and faculty. He used the session to draw participants attention to the need for the Kumasi Campus to work as team. The Deputy Registrar, GTUC, Ms. Jennifer Akude in her presentation, took participants through the vision, mission and the core values of GTUC, and emphasized that members should work within the core values of GTUC to enable the University College achieve its vision and mission through our strategic goals. She also used her session to inform participants about the various programmes offered by GTUC and added that her office is[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]currently working on the confirmation of new programmes to be added.Administrative Officer, (Office of Deputy Registrar), Mr. Yaw Okyere took participants through team building dynamics and re-echoed the need to use team building skills to solve real life problems at the work place. He took them through a sociometric technique exercise on how to identify competencies of members in a team. During the last session of the workshop, individual participants were given the opportunity to give an account of themselves and how they wanted to be treated as team members. Members were satisfied with the sessions and commended the facilitators for taking them through the workshop.
