Overview

What is the programme about?

The MBA International Trade degree is a collaborative programme between Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) and Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Germany.

This Masters programme is a quality German MBA, internationally and academically accredited, with a focus on developing proactive, intercultural managers. Our graduates work in C-suite marketing roles, as financial experts, importers, exporters, consultants and entrepreneurs in local and international business contexts.

It prepares graduates for the global business environment by giving them the skills to analyse the suitability of investments for good corporate strategic success in both global and domestic business environments.

Programme duration: one and a half years of blended learning. Students complete the programme modules via blended delivery.

Who should apply

Admission Requirements

The programme is of particular interest to people working in, or planning to work in, finance, marketing, insurance, banking, consultancy, import and export, manufacturing, logistics and the service industries. Increasingly, our graduates use the MBA International Trade programme to establish their own businesses.

  • A good bachelor's degree with at least a Second Class division.
  • English proficiency is required from French-speaking international applicants for whom English is not an official language. Applicants may enrol at GCTU's Language Centre to obtain proficiency in English.

Lectures & Graduation

Graduate from two universities

Lectures run on weekends (8.00am to 4.30pm) over one and a half years. They are delivered by faculty from GCTU and Anhalt University, and professors and guest lecturers from Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Germany, fly in for face-to-face lectures.

Students graduate from both universities and can attend graduation ceremonies in Ghana and Germany.
