Jonathan Casely Wiredu (Mr.) is a Chartered Accountant and Internal Auditor with a strong accounting, auditing, and finance background. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Internal Auditor at Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) after rising through the ranks from Senior Internal Audit Assistant and Principal Internal Audit Assistant under the Audit Directorate, where he applies his extensive expertise to ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance. His role is pivotal in conducting audits, developing risk-based audit plans, and implementing effective internal controls to enhance the financial operations of the University.

Prior to his current role, Jonathan gained valuable experience across various positions. He served as an Internal Auditor for Bisvel Communication Limited, conducting comprehensive audits, assessing risk management practices, and providing strategic recommendations to strengthen financial controls and processes.

At Alisad Enterprise and Construction Limited, he held the position of Manager, where he demonstrated his leadership abilities by overseeing business operations and implementing effective strategies that drove growth and profitability.

His earlier career includes working as an Accounts and Operations Officer at Capital Rural Bank Limited, where he showcased his proficiency in financial operations and played a key role in managing day-to-day banking activities.
