In his address before cutting the symbolic tape, Prof. Afoakwa emphasized the importance of a presentable reception area, stating, ”

The reception is said to be the entrance to the University where visitors come to seek for information, and as such it should look presentable so that at least, it will give an impression to the visitors, that what is inside is equally good.”
