
The Business Students Association (BSA) of GCTU has officially launched its 2026 BSA Week on July 13, 2026, at the Business School Campus.
The BSA Week is being held under the theme, “Invest in Yourself: Health, Safety and Financial Wisdom” and it is expected to be climaxed with a Sports Day on Saturday, July 18, 2026.

Speaking at the launch as the Special Guest, the Chairman of the University Council, Ing. Divine D. K. Kpetigo noted, that the greatest investment students can make is in themselves. He encouraged students to invest in their health, safety, financial literacy, relationships, knowledge, character, innovation and resilience.
The Chairman urged students to seek support for emotional and psychological challenges, manage stress effectively, cultivate personal budgeting and saving habits and build genuine relationships through mentorship. He also encouraged them to embrace lifelong learning, pursue continuous personal development and remain resilient in the face of challenges.

At the launch, BSA President Miss Juliet Maa Teiki Mensah reaffirmed the Association’s commitment to academic excellence, leadership, professional development, and student welfare. She noted BSA welcomes collaborations, partnerships, and sponsorships to create opportunities and deliver greater value to members.

The week-long celebration will feature a series of engaging and impactful activities including a seminar, health screening, talk, cocktail party and cultural night, designed to educate, inspire and provide practical experiences that encourage students to invest in themselves.
