The University Community is hereby informed that as part of activities marking Internal Audit Awareness Month 2026, a seminar is being organized to enhance awareness of the vital role internal auditors play in promoting transparency, accountability, risk management and good governance within institutions.
The seminar is scheduled as follows:

Topic: Internal Audit Awareness by Stakeholders: A Tool for Effective Governance and Accountability
The seminar is specifically targeted at all Deans, Directors, Heads of Department and Heads of Unit. Members of the University Community who are interested in strengthening their understanding of internal audit practices and institutional governance are also encouraged to attend.
The resource institution for the seminar is the Institute of Internal Auditors Ghana.
