GTUC Receives Award

Ghana Technology University College for the first time has received a local award as the best Private University in the area of science and technology in Ghana.
This was at a colourful event held on Wednesday at Golden Tulip, Kumasi. The Africa Media Educational Excellence Awards was organised by Micjoy Advertising in collaboration with its media partners. The platform honours individuals and institutions who have contributed immensely to the development of education in Ghana and most distinguished Private Universities in Ghana.

Some dignitaries who attended the function included the Nkosuohene of Asanteman, Nana Owusu Banahene who received the award on behalf of the former President, Mr. John Agyekum Kufuor who was honoured for his immeasurable contribution to education in Ghana. Also in attendance was the Deputy Minister of Education, Mr. Alex Kyeremeh was also honoured at the event.

Receiving the award on behalf of the University, Head of University Relations, Ms. Afua Amankwah Sarkodie thanked organisers for the recognition and also pledged GTUC’s commitment to the delivery of quality tertiary education.
Other Universities who received awards include All Nations University College, Presbyterian University College, Jackson College of Education and All Nations International Development Agency (ANIDA).
